Frequently Asked Questions: How can I become a Guild member?

  • Question
    How can I become a Guild member?
  • Answer

    There are no requirements for becoming a guild member. We have members of most age groups, men, women, non-binary, all races and many nationalities.

    All that is required is an interest in woodworking and a desire to participate in a mutual learning experience.

    • CLICK HERE to complete a membership application - if you are a member, do not use this link.  You may pay using any of the three methods below:

      • You may pay with with Venmo (preferred method).  They will allow you to use any major credit card, or a bank transfer in payment. Once your payment has been received, it will take a few days to process your membership and to get your membership card in the mail to you. When your membership has been processed, you will have access to the "Members Only" features of the website, and you will receive your membership card in the mail and you may begin using it to get member discounts for goods purchased from our sponsor.

      • Click the link above and fill out the entire form, then print the filled out form using your web browser's File->Print menu item and give it to a Guild officer at one of the monthly meetings along with your check for $30 ($52.50 if you want also to join the Front Range Wood Turners group).

      • A third option consists of printing the filled out form and mailing it with your check to the Guild's P.O. Box snail mail address;

             Colorado Woodworkers Guild
             Attn: Membership
             P. O. Box 100996
             Denver, CO 80250

    We do not suggest using the snail mail option, since we don't have the people power to check our mail more than once a month, or at most twice. If you choose the regular mail option, it could tak five weeks or longer to get your membership processed.
