January Guild Meeting
Our January Meeting featured James Cole, a chair maker from Colorado Springs. He spoke about the ergonomics of chair design, emphasizing the importance of being aware of where the person will have their feet, their seat and a support for the back.
James has been teaching a dozen Guild members how to build his signature Rocker. He has devoted many hours and donated use of many of his specialized tools to this group to help everyone learn the art of assembly and sculpting this piece. Everyone is working hard to try to have their chair ready to bring to the February meeting.
